@zoid: In an hardware shop I was told by a technician that if you open the flap of floppy virus will get inside. And I remember he mentioned me a name too :D

I once heard a lecturer tell his 1st years that viruses are created when games are copied illegally. I might add the man was convinced that this was true!

I remember those sites that have hundreds of “you have a virus” and “critical hard drive state” messages and urged me to download “WINDOWS 2009 AV”. Of course I run Linux, which makes things extremely hilarious.

@Salvatore: Heh, nice one. But one guy once told me that letting floppy disks lying aroud would “infect” them with a virus. If I recall correctly, according to him this is the reason there are computer-viruses at all.
He was absolutely serious about that!
