I have a general idea, before I start a mini-saga like this one, of what's happening, but then I'll probably improvise anyway. As for the strips that belong to no particular story but are just jokes, I keep a list of jokes and add there whenever something comes to my mind, then draw them in no particular order. @ag, I actually don’t plan a lot ahead. Is there a direction you are always taking it or is it just based on how you feel at the moment? Personally, I see another kidnaping comming. This new girl is trouble I tell ya. She's going to take him to Redmond. how far ahead have you planned for this comic? Is there a direction you are always taking it or is it just based on how you feel at the moment?

I guess there are some dudes out there that just act like rand() in today's script. I recognized myself in some scenes ... but this one is really hard! :) Salvatore, you’re crazy! Have you heard of how Richard Garfield (of Magic the Gathering fame) proposed to his wife? He made a magic card which asks her to marry him. Unfortunately, he set the cost too high and he couldn't cast it. Not wanting to break the rules, he got his then girlfriend to keep playing until he got enough mana to cast the card.
