@wareya
You can usually get CUPS and HPLIP to generate "page # of #" headers and footers on lots of things and plenty of OSS packages like Firefox, Thunderbird and Kate have headers and footers which can be set to mimic Windows/MS-Office style headers and footers.
You can probably even get OO.o to generate page numbers just like Excel.

He's a pretty cool guy, but he's a little harsh.

He might have seen some kind of "page _ of _" at the bottom. :P

Funny but actually pretty unfair: `the' ms word font I think is `Times New Roman' but it has actually a pretty liberal license. Not by chance is normally available in linux distros, it means the document might be created using any open source office suite.
(see http://www.microsoft.com/typography/faq/faq8.htm )

Of course Annie might used the Cambria or an other crazily limited typeface: `You may use the fonts that accompany the PowerPoint Viewer (note: it includes Cambria) only to display and print content from a device running a Microsoft Windows operating system.'

I certainly hope Ali has the capabilities to back that temper. It's one thing to have a crazy guy like that who knows his stuff, but if he's just screaming with nothing to back him up then that is just sad.

In any case I think this guy is the real deal, otherwise why would she pay him so much??? I think that he is going to have some conflict with Boris though.

 Unless this is all part of Boris's master plan!!! He takes the "manager" position of a team, has a super-hardcore opensource engineer hired and forms the ultimate opensource team to take over the company, or at least to make Bob, Ross, and co. look really bad!! (after which they proceed to take on the world!)

@Zombie
I Agree

I see an opening here for Randie. Since Annie uses M$ Windows, she will have to go to Randie to have the document printed properly, thus allowing Randie to finally ask her out....
