You know, Ross used gedit a while back - which highlights AUTOMATICLY - so why he is still highlighting his code by hand in Word? So, that’s why he wanted Randal to change the colorscheme!

The D compiler, for instance, can read xhtml pages and extract <code> blocks. The pointer explanation was hard to top, but that's not an excuse for Ross! A+ Salvatore :) Actually, the compiler reading Word documents is not that far fetched. The D compiler, for instance, can read xhtml pages and extract blocks.

I hoped that the tone she used for "and then we're finished for today" would hint familiarity. It's just the first lesson to appear in the comic :-) @larethian, interesting question :-) I guess it just doesn't compile, and Ross will blame the broken compiler! @Marc, thanks! I guess I must be such a crappy coder myself that I find these situation natural :-D @etb, no, this wasn’t the first lesson.
